Risk Assessment

The riskmanager from Qredits reviews the credit application as prepared by the business advisor.

In this phase of the process, a number of things are re-assessed by means of the "four eyes principle.” The following is considered:

  • The personal situation.
  • The description of business activities, market and competition.
  • The support of the credit request.
  • Verification of existing commitments such as rental contracts and purchase contracts as well as outstanding loans or other types of financial obligations.
  • The feasibility of the to-be-realized budget.
  • The overall personal financial situation, including possible liabilities.
  • Theestablishing of conditions such as the content of rental contracts, partner’s statement of employment, and perhaps requiring collateral.

The assessment of the riskmanager is generally completed within three business days of receiving the screening report. The riskmanager ultimately decides whether the loan is approved and under what conditions this happens. Despite the fact that we try as much as possible to objectively assess the facts, the judgment is in fact on a case-by-case basis. Of course, we also make use of the historical data of our customers.

Upon approval, the file is forwarded to the credit administration which draws up the offer.
